1. Who we are
Try Virtual Fit (www.tryvirtualfit.in) is run by Try Virtual Fit. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Try Virtual Fit. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
2. Your photos stay on your device
The fitting room works entirely inside your web browser. Photos of you and of your clothes, and any edits you make to them, are read and processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers and we never see them. They are cleared when you reload or close the page.
Please only use photos of other people if they have agreed to it.
3. What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you choose and your message.
- Suggestions form: your 0 to 10 score, the type of suggestion and your idea, plus your name and email only if you choose to give them.
- Suggestion box: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of suggestion and your message.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider automatically records server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.
- Website accounts: if you are given a login to this site, WordPress stores your username, email address and password (encrypted).
We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics tools. See our Cookie Policy for the few cookies the site uses.
4. How we use it
- To read and reply to your message. When you send the contact form you agree to this use, and you can withdraw that consent at any time (see Your rights).
- To keep the website secure and working, prevent spam and fix problems, using server logs.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We will not use your details for marketing or sell them to anyone.
6. How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up, and for at least one year where the law requires us to, after which we delete them. Server logs are kept for the period our hosting provider and the law require.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw your consent, which stops future use but does not affect what was done before;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
To do any of this, write to us using the details in section 11. We may need to confirm your identity first.
8. Children
This site is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us a message. If we learn that we have a child's personal data without a parent's or guardian's consent, we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to the website dashboard and keeping software up to date. No website can be completely secure, but if a breach affecting your data happens, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we add new features. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, we will say so on this page.
11. Grievances and contact
For any privacy question, request or complaint, contact us at hello@tryvirtualfit.in. We will respond within 90 days, and sooner where we can.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
